If you're new here (or a curious familiar face), we're excited to share with you why we do what we do.

our purpose
We scour the earth for beautiful objects that can stand the test of time. Homes deserve to be tranquil — you really only need one of one. Just like a capsule wardrobe, you can build a capsule home.

We've always had an internal battle with wanting to create and the impact it would in turn, create on this world. In the process of building something new, even most "sustainable" materials misalign with our values.

By offering antique, vintage, local and hand-made, we're supporting small communities and are one-step closer to respecting the home we call earth. We aren't perfect by any means. We'll always strive to improve. And we're ALWAYS open to feedback.

the name (and the story behind it)

sunbury — an unburied or found treasure awaiting its next life (our own definition).

Sunbury is also a street. It's in a town where I spent a lot of my childhood and the place my grandfather called home; a small old english cobblestoned street lined with antique shops and local bakeries. My grandfather was always fascinated with the beauty in old collectibles and passed on this adoration for design, character and charm to yours truly.

As an entrepreneur himself, he always believed in pursuing a passion, and for me, not only does sunbury represent mine but an ode to the person and place that inspires me most.
